Frontenac Masonic District is made up of hundreds of Freemasons from 14 different Lodges covering an area from Napanee in the west through Kingston to Gananoque in the east and north to Sharbot lake and Northbrook. Freemasonry in our area has a rich and important history which goes back to long before Confederation. Our membership is made up of men from all walks of life with diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds united together in a common commitment towards self improvement, compassion for all, relief and truth.

R.W. Bro. Glenn V. Baker

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of R.W. Bro. Glenn Baker to the Grand Lodge Above at Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (Perth Site) on Saturday April 9, 2016. R.W. Bro. Baker was a member of Simpson Lodge No 157 and DDGM of Frontenac District in the 1994-95 Masonic year. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at the Scotland Funeral Home (27 Main St. County Road 8 Elgin, ON) on Tuesday afternoon at 3:45. 
Brethren are asked to assemble at the Funeral Home for 3:30.

Frontenac Bus to the Annual Communication of Grand Lodge 2016 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016

The MAFD has secured a 28-passenger bus to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel for the Annual Communication of Grand Lodge.

Itinerary: Depart Kingston:

  • -  0545 am: Boarding for the Kingston Brethren will begin at the Toys-R-Us Parking lot on Princess Street in Kingston

  • -  06:00 am: Depart Kingston for Toronto with stop in Napanee with a comfort stop on the way

  • -  Approx. 06:30 am: Pickup at the Flying J, Napanee

  • -  Approx. 09:00 am: arrive Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto

    Depart Toronto: Approx. 9:00 pm: Depart the Royal York Hotel (after Grand Master's Banquet)

Officer Progression Seminar

R.W. Bro. Allen B. Wright, PDDGM Ottawa District 1 will be presenting a seminar for Eastern, Frontenac, St. Lawrence, Ottawa 1 and 2 Districts regarding Officer Progression. This event is to be held at the Ingleside Masonic Centre, 11 Memorial Square, Ingleside, ON K0C 1M0 on April 27th at 7:30 P.M.

As many of us are preparing for elections and taking on the tasks of new officer postings this event may be of great benefit to you, the lodge officers and your lodge. For others this will be a good refresher.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of V.W. Bro. Frank Kimmett to The Grand Lodge Above on Sunday, March 13, 2016. V.W. Bro. Kimmett was a Past Master and Past Grand Steward from Victoria Lodge No 299.  There will be a Masonic Memorial Service on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 12:45 P.M. at the Hannah Funeral Home located at 123 Dundas St. W., Napanee, ON. 
Brethren are asked to assemble at the Funeral Home at 12:30 P.M.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. followed by Service at 2:00 P.M.

Rideau Minden Lodge No. 253 Cornerstone Ceremony

No doubt this will be a wonderful gathering with our Grand Master and Grand Lodge Officers in attendance. It is with the deepest regrets that I inform you of the passing on Sunday, January 24, 2016 of M.W. BRO. RAYMOND SIDNEY JAMES DANIELS, Past Grand Master.

At M.W. Bro. Daniels’s request there will be no visitation and no funeral service. However, there will be a MASONIC MEMORIAL SERVICE on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

The service will held at DUNFIELD THEATRE CAMBRIDGE at 46 Grand Avenue South, CAMBRIDGE. Please allow yourself lots of time as the location has a considerable amount of city driving from HWY 401. Masons attire: Business Suit and Regalia. Ladies are welcome.

Musical Event

The event was held on November 14, 2015 and was able to raise $1,700.00 was raised for the District Project and $ 1,700.00 for the Shriner's Hospital in Montreal. Bro. Repique and his friends raised this money by sharing their gifts of musical voice for the good of Freemasonry.

Scotch Nosing and Dinner

Come join us for a Scotch Nosing and Dinner at the Bath Masonic Hall. Cost is $75.00 per person and will include a four course Pork Tenderloin dinner and five samples of Scottish Whisky. If you are not a Scotch drinker but enjoy fellowship, the cost is $40.00 per person.

This is a great opportunity to introduce a prospective friend to the fellowship side of the Craft.

All proceeds go towards the purchase of a Automatic External Defibrillation Unit (AED) for the Bath Masonic Hall.
