Visitation: Wed. evening (Aug. 8th): 7-9 pm; Thurs. afternoon (Aug. 9th): 2-4pm; and Thurs. evening (Aug. 9th): 7:15-9 pm.

Royal Canadian Legion Service: Thurs. Aug. 9: 6:30-6:45 pm.

Masonic Service: Thurs. Aug. 9: 6:45-7:00 pm

Fire Fighters Service: Thurs. Aug. 9: 7:00-7:15 pm.

Funeral: Friday Morning, 11 am in the Chapel at Scotland Funeral Home

Interment: Olivet Cemetery, 3258 County Rd. 32

Reception: Seeley's Bay Legion

If you are planning to attend the Masonic Service, please plan to arrive at Scotland Funeral Home for 6 pm. Brethren, it no doubt self-evident, but this is going to very busy evening for the Langille Family with all 3 Community Organizations that Laurie was part of, coming to pay their respects. Nevertheless, it's imperative that we show the family and these other organizations our utmost in Fraternal decorum and respect with such a large gathering planned for Thursday evening.

LANGILLE : LAURIE W. Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday August 7, 2018. Laurie Langille of Seeley's Bay, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Helen McFarlane. Dear father of Kenneth (Bev) of Beamsville. Predeceased by daughter, Cathy Slade. Dear step-father of Sandy (Denise) of Kingston and Robb of Seeley's Bay. Dear brother of Eleanor (Gordon) Greeno and Joan Sanford of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by sisters, Shirley Benjamin and Mary Acker and brothers, Eugene and Douglas Langille. Fondly remembered by many loving grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Olivet Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Brethren,

Please keep the family of R.W. Bro. Laurie Langille in your thoughts and prayers as they make arrangements for his Visitation and Funeral. Our dear Brother passed peacefully this morning at KGH just after 6 am to the Grand Lodge above with his family by his side.

The family will be meeting with Scotland Funeral Home in Elgin this afternoon to finalize his service details, and once I receive an update, I will be sure to pass along the information to all so that everyone can make their own arrangements.
